Hosting a Summer Soiree: How I Curated a Bridgerton Inspired Garden Party with Thrifted Treasures

Months in the making, this event was a labor of love, with sustainability at its core. I embarked on a mission to create an eco-friendly affair, starting with the sourcing of materials. From glassware to vintage china, I scoured thrift stores for unique pieces that would add character and charm to the gathering.
Even the patio furniture was second-hand, with a wicker set and lounge pieces by the pool all finding their way into the party setup. Thrifted brass candle holders and art pieces added a touch of vintage flair, setting the stage for an enchanting ambiance.
Inspired by the elegance of Bridgerton but mindful of my budget, I crafted a vision that would capture the essence of the theme without breaking the bank. With sustainability in mind, I turned to Canva Pro to design the perfect invitation, setting the tone for the event with a charming riddle that piqued the curiosity of guests. As the invites went out, I focused on creating signage that would guide guests through the festivities. Thrifted frames became the perfect backdrop for customizable templates, adding a touch of sophistication to the décor.
With the stage set and the invites sent, it was time to turn my attention to the menu. Drawing inspiration from traditional tea parties, I curated a selection of sandwiches, crackers, croissants, fruit, cured meats, and a variety of beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Boisson proved to be a valuable resource for NA beverages and mixers, ensuring that every guest had something delightful to sip on.
As the day of the party arrived, the garden came to life with the glow of the summer sun and the laughter of friends and loved ones. Surrounded by thrifted treasures and sustainable décor, we reveled in the magic of the moment, proving that style and sustainability can go hand in hand.
